Traditional Tools & Techniques

Here I will list and later briefly describe the tools that have been traditionally used in Bangladesh for prepping and cooking. Note however, that I will not be including the tools, utensils, and kitchen appliances that are commonly used around the world, including in the modern kitchens of Dhaka. I would focus my attention on the 80% of Bangladesh which is rural and continue to make use of these everyday. It is amazing to find out how the village people successfully manage to use minimum, inexpensive tools to produce wonderful mouth watering dishes! Please feel free to comment and help grow this list.
